The best treatments for each skin type
At Dermika, we believe in beauty backed by science. Therefore, we only use treatments and medical supplies approved by the SECRETARY of Health.
In addition, we keep our medical equipment and MEDICAL team TRAINING up-to-date. Next, we will show you some of the treatments we use to treat keloid scars.
This type of scar is characterized by being raised scars, or scars with relief in the affected area of the skin. These scars are mainly caused by a wound, a piercing, or a poorly healed tattoo.

Triamcinolone Injection
Injection of a steroid medication that helps reduce the bulging of keloid scars.

Fluorouracil Injection
It is injected into the scars by punctures. With this injection, the cells divide excessively, such as those of tumors or keloid scars, reduce their metabolic rate and oncologic proliferation.

Surgery
A surgical procedure focused on treating a specific problem in the affected area. It can usually be performed in the MEDICAL CENTER with local anesthesia, sometimes hospitalization may be required; a specialized physician will previously determine this.

Fractional CO2 Laser
The fractional laser is used to fade some types of acne scars, facial rejuvenation treatments, and in the treatment of some skin blemishes and lesions. It PERFORMS a superficial and controlled burn of a layer of the skin so that it can be removed and HELPS generate new tissue BY stimulating the production of collagen and elastin.
For this treatment, you must schedule an appointment with any of our certified dermatologists at least 3 weeks before your procedure, as it is necessary to apply some creams on your face prior to the laser.
