Definition and Causes

Signs and symptoms
Rosacea causes redness, red pimples, and visible blood vessels on the face, usually on the nose and cheeks. Chronically it can cause thickening of the skin on the nose or chin. Sometimes it can even affect the eyes with irritation and redness that must be treated by an ophthalmologist.

Diagnosis
The clinical manifestations are characteristic, so additional studies are generally not required.

Treatment
There are various products and medications that vary according to the severity level..
Cleansing soaps, topical antibiotics, retinoids, oral antibiotics, and isotretinoin are used for more severe cases.
Hay algunos dermatological treatments for acne, which can be used in conjunction to improve acne and scars., such as the peelings, microneedling, IPL, and fractional CO2 laser.
